After the World Cup, Chahal returned back in the Indian cricket team to play the third T20 international versus New Zealand. In that match, he conceded only 26 runs in four overs and two crucial wickets of Martin Guptill. In the coming few months we will definitely see the return of Yujvendra Chahal.
He released a statement regarding his future ventures in which he said, “It was disappointing to lose a spot in the Indian team for a mega-event like the World Cup. I think I did reasonably well in the IPL and in the series against Sri Lanka. But that’s part of a sportsperson’s life. I was eyeing the World Cup since the time it was postponed. Nevertheless, I got great support from my family to overcome that disappointment. It was wonderful to get into the India dressing room against New Zealand,” said Chahal while speaking to HT. He further added,“I have done well under Virat bhaiya and hope to keep doing well under Rohit bhaiya‘s captaincy in the T20 format. I have played with Rahul Dravid as a coach while being in the India A team. He is a great coach with an intelligent cricket mind. Then there is Paras Mhambrey also now as bowling coach. I held discussions with him on my bowling. His inputs would definitely benefit me,” concluded Chahal.

31-year-old Yuzvendra Chahal hails from the city of Jind, Haryana. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler. Last year he married his ladylove Dhanashree Verma. Chahal consistently played for Haryana in the domestic circuit and represent India in 2016. Just after representing India in a few months, he regains the position of the spin wizard. As cricket experts started calling him Chatur Chalak Chahal.
He played for Mumbai Indians from 2011 till 2013. Then he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore and for seven consecutive seasons, he played for RCB. This year he won’t be retained by RCB. And 56 matches Chahal took 96 wickets in the ODI circuit. In 50 T20 matches, he took 64 wickets. He is a successful bowler for his RCB franchise also.
