Rajasthan Royals, the IPL 2008 winners, will feature on March 29 in their first game of Indian Premier League 2022. The Rajasthan-based franchise will be taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad, MCA Stadium in an evening game.
Sanju Samson, The wicket-keeper batsman will be leading the franchise for the second consecutive season. The Kerala cricketer was able to impress everyone with his consistency in the last season.
Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, and Yashasvi Jaiswal were the three retentions of the Rajasthan-based franchise. The team opted to release Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer due to injury concerns.

Yuzvendra Chahal, The premier Indian leg spinner was picked by Rajasthan Royals in the mega auction for 6.5 CR. On March 16, Rajasthan Royals tweeted a funny video of Chahal while he was eating. The leg spinner replied ‘Yeah account hack Kar Dunga ab main 🤣🤣’
In the next tweet Chahal thanked the CEO of RR for giving him the password. ‘hahahaha ab aayega maza 🤣Thanks for the password @JakeLushMcCrum,’ wrote Chahal.
For the next few hours, Chahal took over the account and tweeted some interesting and comical tweets. The leg spinner went on to announce himself as the captain of the side.
