Yash Scores a Ton on the First-Class Debut
Dhull after winning the world cup and joining the Delhi squad was selected for First Class Cricket. Yash made a debut on Day 1 of their Group H match against Tamil Nadu at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati. He Just Went all guns blazing against the Tamil Nadu Attack. He walked in at a situation where the team was 7/2. It was a very tough situation for a youngster in a debut match. But he handled it very well and overcame this pressure.
The 19-year-old got to the landmark in just 133 balls for Delhi. He smashed 16 boundaries in a stroke-filled innings as he stamped his authority against a high-quality Tamil Nadu bowling attack. Yash was caught at midwicket when he was on 97, But fortune favored him the bowler had overstepped that delivery.
So he went onto bat till 113 runs. He was given out LBW. At the first look, this wasn’t looking out the fans were unhappy, Because the Umpire gave it Straightaway. This was a harsh call for the youngster.

After scoring a ton on the debut match Yash Dhull has joined an elite list of batters, including Sachin Tendulkar and Prithvi Shaw, to hit a Ranji Trophy hundred on debut as a teenager.
