He scored his last century in November 2019 in a test match against Bangladesh, Which was almost a couple of years back. Since then, The right-hander has failed to contribute significantly in international cricket as well as in the IPL.
Kohli’s slump for the runs continued in the ongoing England tour. The middle-order batter as part of the one-off test, last two T20Is, and the ODI series, however, he has failed to produce a noticeable knock in those games. He has only one opportunity left (3rd ODI) as far as the ongoing tour is concerned.
The Delhi-born cricketer will feature in the last one-day encounter of the three-match series. The game will take place on July 17 in Manchester. He won’t feature in India’s upcoming ODI and T20I series in West Indies, which begins on July 22. The right-hander is expected to make his return through the Asia Cup.
