Root was caught balancing his bat at the non-striker’s end without touching it during a recent test match against Blackcaps. The visual surprised the netizens but later it was confirmed that the Englishman was using a ‘flat base’ bat while doing the act.
The marquee Indian batter failed while copying the act as he is using a different-shaped bat. However, He managed to get some limelight after the incident. The video of the incident has been shared and watched by multiple fans, and Twitter users.
Kohli played a decent inning of 32, including some fine shots before being caught behind by a half volley from the right-arm pacer Roman Walker. The middle-order batter managed to hit a six and multiple boundaries in his long stay at the crease.
