IND vs WI: The highly-anticipated India’s tour of the West Indies is all set to commence on July 12 with a red ball series. The enthralling multi-format tour comprises a series of all three formats which will occur during a 30-day window. BCCI has formally announced India’s squads for the Test and One Day International series while the lineup for T20 Internationals is yet to be picked.
Earlier this week, Indian test players reached Barbados and they are currently undergoing an intense training camp. India will feature in a two-day practice fixture – scheduled to kick off on July 5 – ahead of the competitive Test series. This will be Team India’s maiden assignment following their defeat against Australia in the World Test Championship final last month.

Kohli Turns Into Jaiswal’s Batting Coach During Practice
Meanwhile, veteran India batter Virat Kohli was seen in an animated chat with Yashasvi Jaiswal during a recent net session. Kohli advised Jaiswal on his front foot play and the latter appeared notably attentive. Jaiswal was engaged in a similar discussion with Kohli last month in England nets, during the World Test Championship finale. The Mumbai batter has high regard for Virat Kohli and he has been very open about the same.
“Virat bhaiya is a legend of the game. I had a really good interaction with him during the IPL. I took a lot of tips from him,” Jaiswal told Times of India ahead of the West Indies test series
Take a look at the video:
“Virat bhaiya and MS Dhoni sir have played big roles in my career. They know the game very well. When you talk to them, you learn a lot.” the Mumbai batter further added
Yashasvi Jaiswal was picked in India’s lineup for the approaching Test series against West Indies. Jaiswal is likely to make his Test debut at Dominica in the India-Windies test series opener. The 21-year-old is all set to replace Cheteshwar Pujara in India’s eleven at the third batting position.
