West Indies are on a tour to Srilanka for 2 match test series. The second test is currently underway at Galle where the crowd witnessed an interesting incident between Srilanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva and West Indies’s keeper Joshua de Silva.
Summary of 1st Test at Galle
Srilanka registered a victory over the hosts in the 1st Test by a margin of 187 runs. Dimuth Karunaratne Srilanka’s skipper led the side by scoring 147 runs and 83 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively of the 1st Test.

West Indies batting led them down in the 1st Test the only positive for them was the hundred-run partnership between Joshua Da Silva and Bonner for the 7 wickets in the 2nd innings. Da Silva scored 54 runs and was caught behind by Dhananjaya de Silva on the ball of Lasith.
In the 2nd Test match, Da Silva took revenge as he took the catch of Dhananjaya de Silva.
When De Silva came to bat in the 1st Innings, Da Silva said jokingly that he will be caught by Da Silva and the same happened.
Da Silva, West Indies keeper said,
“You catch me, I catch you – that’s how it works in cricket.” Just after a while of the warning, the West Indies keeper caught the Sri Lankan keeper.
Currently the day 4 of the test match is going on in Galle where Srilanka is trying to put up a defendable score by currently having a lead of 172 runs with a loss of 7 wickets. In the 1st innings, Srilanka just managed to score 204 runs on the board and West Indies scored more than them and took a lead of 49 in the first inning.
