Sara Tendulkar was in limelight recently for showing support to her brother Arjun Tendulkar through her social media account, during the recently concluded season of the Indian Premier League. She posted a clip of Arjun standing near the Mumbai Indians dugout with a song namely ‘Apna Time Aaega’ from the Bollywood movie ‘Gully Boy’ in the background.
Sara herself recorded the clip from the venue, before sharing it through her Instagram story. Arjun Tendulkar was picked by the Mumbai-based franchise for an amount of INR 30 Lakhs in the mega auction for IPL 2022. The left-arm pacer has been part of the franchise for two years now, however, he is yet to make his debut for the Rohit Sharma-led side.
The 22-year-old was not considered for the later part of the league as well, even when the team was virtually out of the playoffs race. Several other players made their debut in that phase as the management of the franchise was trying to experiment with some new players looking at the future.
The bowling coach Shane Bond revealed that the left-hander has a lot of work to do, talking specifically about the batting aspect. The New Zealander confirmed that Arjun is not yet eligible to make it into the starting 11 of the Mumbai Indians.
