The ICC T20 World Cup is at the final league stage where two teams that are England and Australia are qualified from group 1 and in group 2 all eyes are on the result of New Zealand and Afganistan game.
If New Zealand wins the game against Afganistan then they are through to the semis and the chances for India making into the semis would be nil but if Afghanistan manages to beat New Zealand and India beats Namibia on 8 November then India would be the second team alongside Pakistan to make into the semis.

Just during the Afghanistan and New zealand game, official Pakistan Twitter handle tried to took a dig against Indian fans by tweeting , “How are you feeling, Indian fans? #NZvAFG #T20WorldCup”.
Wasim jaffer’s reply
Wasim jaffer who is known for his hilarious reply gave it back as he tweeted, “Had a heavy lunch between 12-1, still feeling full Winking face #NZvsAfg #T20WorldCup”.
Earlier in the mega event India lost to Pakistan for the very first time in the World Cup. This win for Pakistan came after 12 losses against the arch rivals.
Pakistan is the only team in this tournament which is unbeaten till now. They have won all the 4 games and could also win the fifth one which is against Scotland on November 7th.
Whereas India lost the first two games against Pakistan and New Zealand respectively. Then the went onto beat Afganistan and Scotland comprehensively.
Afganistan VS New Zealand
In the do or die game, Afganistan won the toss and elected to bat first. The good news for Afganistan was that Mujeeb was fit and available. Afganistan had a worst start as they lost 3 wickets for just 19 runs.
Najibullah came out as a savior for them as he scored 73 runs off 48 balls and couple of good partnership with naib and nabi which took Afganistan to post a score of 124 runs on the board.
If New Zealand is able to chase this score then they are qualified alongside Pakistan for the semis otherwise the teams have to wait for tomorrow’s game result.
