The high-anticipated season of the Pakistan Super League is currently occurring across multiple venues in Pakistan. PSL 2023 kicked off earlier this week, with a thrilling Multan-Lahore tournament opener. Renowned six teams are featured in the tournament, consisting of multiple prominent local and international campaigners. As things stand, Shaheen Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars are the defending champions of PSL.
Meanwhile, emerging pacer Naseem Shah is marking his presence for Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Quetta Gladiators in another season of the PSL. The 20-year-old was struggling with a few injuries in the last few months but is now back at full fitness. Shah appeared impressive in Quetta’s first game against Multan, conceding just 6 runs in a two-over spell. Unfortunately, he did not get the opportunity to bowl extensively due to Quetta’s short target on the board.
“Happy Birthday Naseem Shah. Congratulations on being conferred with honorary DSP rank.” Urvashi Rautela wishes Naseem Shah via Instagram comments
Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, who has been part of many Cricket-related controversies in the past has yet again caught netizens’ eye with her birthday wish for Naseem Shah. Urvashi wished Shah on his birthday in the comments of his latest Instagram post, featuring teammate Shadab Khan. The Bollywood actress further congratulated the Pakistan pacer for achieving the ‘honorary DSP rank’. Naseem Shah, surprisingly, responded with a ‘Thank you’.
Earlier last year, during the Asia Cup 2022, Uravashi Rautela posted a video on her Instagram while watching the India-Pakistan clash. The video featured a glimpse of Naseem Shah, who was playing the exact match at the Dubai International Stadium. The video resulted in multiple baseless speculations on social media linking the two.
“I am smiling at your question. I don’t know who Urvashi is. I only focus on my match. People usually send me videos but I have no idea. I have nothing special in me but I thank people who come to watch cricket and give a lot of respect.” said Naseem Shah in a press conference while responding to the viral video of Urvashi Rautela
