Following a substandard run in the opening Edgbaston test, David Warner finally managed to put some runs on the board this time around. Warner played an impressive 66-run inning off just 88 balls in overcast conditions at Lord’s upfront. The Southpaw appeared in great touch before losing his stump on Josh Tongue’s near-perfect delivery. Moreover, Warner’s runs would be extra crucial for Australia in the approaching second innings.
