Jasprit Bumrah-led Team India headed into the game on the back of a victory in the series opener. Playing the crucial finisher’s role, Rinku hammered stellar 38 runs off just 21 deliveries. Rinku Singh’s impressive knock comprised as many as 3 towering sixes and 2 fours.
“I am feeling very good. I was trying to do what I have done in the IPL. I have been playing for 10 years. All my efforts have born fruition. I am happy to get the Man of the Match award in my first game.” said Rinku Singh in the post-match ceremony
Though Rinku Singh bagged the POTM award, Jasprit Bumrah’s contribution in the game was no less. Leading the Indian team from the front, stand-in skipper Jaspirt Bumrah took a couple of wickets while conceding just 15 runs in his 4-over quota in Dublin.
