IPL 2023: After an atrocious performance in the last season of the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings have made a remarkable comeback this season. Chennai finished at the penultimate position in the table last year (2022), however, they currently rank second in the IPL 2023 points ladder. Having 15 points to their name, CSK have achieved as many as 7 triumphs in the first 11 league matches of IPL 2023.
Chennai Super Kings further appear almost certain to qualify for the playoffs and would aim to finish in the top two. Yesterday’s (Wednesday) clash against Delhi Capitals remained the most recent fixture of CSK and the team managed to come out victorious yet again. MS Dhoni and Co. handed over an embarrassing 27-run defeat to DC in the exact fixture, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
