Wriddhiman Saha was recently dropped from the Indian team as Chetan Sharma, the BCCI chief selector has revealed that the management is looking at young wicket-keepers. Now, Boria Majumdar has accused Wriddhiman Saha and Says “There are always two sides to a story”.
On February 19, the same day when Saha was dropped from the squad. Wriddhiman Saha got a threat from a Journalist on What’s App after he failed to respond to an interview request. Saha went on to Twitter to share the incident.
Saha failed to respond to the Journalist who eventually sent Saha the threat on Whatsapp.
“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so-called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone.” Wrote Wriddhiman Saha in a tweet sent by his official Twitter handle.

Yesterday, On March 5, Wriddhiman Saha confirmed the journalist’s identity to the BCCI investigation committee.
Boria Majumdar has accused Wriddhiman Saha
At Night of the same day, Boria Majumdar, The senior journalist, came out in the open and revealed that the journalist who sent the threat to Saha was none other than himself.
Shockingly, Boria Majumdar has accused Wriddhiman Saha of doctoring the screenshot, damaging his reputation and credibility. The journalist further asks for a fair hearing from the BCCI. He also accused Saha of intentionally hiding the date and said that the date of the incident was different.
The WhatsApp conversation was on June 13 but Wriddhiman Saha shared the screenshot on June 19 hiding the dates in order to gain public sympathy after he was dropped, said Boria Majumdar. He also confirmed that he has all the legal proofs and presented a few in the video.
Boria also confirmed that his lawyers will be serving Wriddhiman Saha, a defamation notice in the coming days.
