Sri Lankan coach Mahela Jayawardene is going to miss the super 12 matches, leaves bio bubble due to fatigue

Mahela Jayawardene is the most successful captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team after Sanath Jayasuriya. He’s been remarkably good with both bat and leadership. In his leadership, Sri Lanka left the T20 World Cup of 2014. Sri Lanka reaches the final for the two consecutive times in the World Cup. First in 2007 and second in 2011 and Jayawardene is the man behind that success.

Now, 44-year-old Jayawardene’s been the cost of various franchisees and teams. He leads the Mumbai Indians camp and also the Sri Lankan camp. With Mumbai Indians, he lifts 3IPL trophies. Now a headline game that states that Mahela Jayawardene has been leaving the Sri Lankan T20 squad, won’t be available for super 12 matches. He is a good coach for the Sri Lankan team. And in his mentorship Sri Lanka wore the first two matches against the Netherlands and Ireland.

Now he’s being bio bubble fatigue, So he is leaving the squad. It same case we have seen a month before when Chris Gayle left the IPL for the same reason. After leaving the bio bubble, Jayawardene stated, “It’s tough. I just counted that I have been 135 days in quarantine and bubbles since June and I am in (the) last legs. But I totally understand and I told them I will be with the group with the technology that we have. I hope that anyone can understand that being a father that I haven’t seen my daughter for that many days. I definitely need to get back home.” COVID-19 makes the lives of players miserable.
