Indian women’s cricket is getting higher and higher day by day. The new Indian women’s cricket team is full of destructive openers responsible middle order and lethal bowlers. Harmanpreet Kaur was the first Indian woman to be a part of the Big Bash League. Big Bash is basically the Australian club cricket tournament. Australian cricket Board organizes these club tournaments for women and men also.

In men’s, no Indian has ever being a part of it. But in women, big Bash Indian woman cricketer is eligible to play the tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur is the first woman to represent India in the big Bash league of women in 2016. After a gap of four years now next to Indian women cricket stars are ready to be a part of it. We are talking about Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma. They both are roped in by Sydney thunders ahead of seven seasons of WBBL. Sydney thunders issue an official statement regarding the addition of Smriti and Deepti.
They said Smriti is an opening batter who has the tremendous ability to take everything in her stride. I like that she keeps her game really simple; she just wants to score runs. I’m delighted to have her on board, and I have no doubt that she’ll prove to be a great addition to Thunder. “Deepti is a match-winner and she also has the talent to bowl in the powerplay, during the middle of a match, or at the death. Deepti is a great addition to the Thunder, and I have no doubt she’ll go a long way to helping us in this year’s competition,” the source added.

Smriti and Deepti are really happy after being selected by Sydney. It is just a proud moment for both of them. As they are going to represent in overseas. Their experience in the upcoming women’s big Bash league would help them in the Indian team also. The big bash is also a very highly rated tournament. If they perform well or whatever they learn from the tournament. Would really help them in international cricket also.

Smriti issues a statement regarding the same, I like it, it always helps. Playing in overseas leagues gives you a lot of experience, especially in the T20 format. Then, of course, you exchange so much experience with each other… with all the players from over the world… so you get to learn a lot.”
