West Indies in South Africa was recently playing in a 5 match T20 series. The series took an interesting turn when West Indies defeated South Africa and drew the series 2-2. Eventually, the 5th match became the deciding match of the series. Batting first South Africa made a total of 168 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. The West Indies bowlers couldn’t pressure the South African batsman much, however, Fidel Edwards took only two wickets.
In this second innings, West Indies started off well with the bat but eventually lost the match by 25 runs. West Indies finished off the innings at 143 runs with the loss of 9 wickets. Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada took some crucial wickets for South Africa. The man of the match was awarded to Aiden Markram of South Africa as he scored 70 runs off just 48 balls.

The shocking incident occurred on the last ball of the second innings when Wiaan Mulder was facing Obed McCoy. On the last ball, McCoy bowled a bouncer to Mulder, however, it was going down the leg side. But Mulder decided to hit the ball but he was beaten by the pace of the ball.
What was more shocking was when the field umpire didn’t call the wide ball. Mulder was shocked by the umpire’s decision by not giving the wide. Even the third umpire didn’t interfere in the situation.
