Allrounder, Sam Curran has been ruled out of England’s T20 World cup 2021 due to a lower back injury.
His brother, Tom Curran who was in reserve is added to the main 15 member squad and left-arm seamer Reece Topley has been added to the list of traveling reserves.
Tom Curran is also a bowling All-rounder who had played 30 T20I for England and has a bowling economy of around 9.2 and averages of 31.28 and his batting average is around 10 with a strike rate of 115.

Lately, Sam Curran’s form hasn’t been that great. He got an opportunity for Chennai in two matches and was completely out of form as he went for 56 runs in 4 overs in his first appearance against Kolkata and for 55 runs in 4 overs against Rajasthan picking not a single wicket.
Sam Curran is the third player who will not be available for England as Jofra Archer and Ben stokes are already ruled out of the mega tournament. Ben Stokes would be missed in England squad as he announced an indefinite break from cricket owing to his mental health. England’s pacer Jofra Archer will also be missing the World Cup due to his elbow injury.

England has those players, who can fill the spot which Sam Curran has left as Sam Curran is bowling all rounder, England has the option of Chris Woakes and David Willey who can bring the same inputs as Sam Curran used to.
