This incident happened when he picked the wicket of Meghalaya’s Aryan Bora. After picking up his wicket, Sreesanth was seen kissing the turf as it was his first wicket after 9 years.
Sreesanth bowled a short ball into the body of Aryan, and Aryan was late playing his shot as he just managed to get an edge on it. Wicketkeeper Vishnu Vinod ran towards his left and completed the catch and by this way, Sreesanth got his first wicket on his comeback game.

Sreesanth took 2 wickets in his comeback game.
The 39-year-old bowled 11.4 overs giving just 40 runs and picking up two wickets in his comeback innings. He even contributed 19 runs with the bat. Unfortunately in the second innings, he didn’t look comfortable in his bowling as he went for 57 runs in 9 overs.
Later on, it was known that Sreesanth was seriously injured and could not even walk. And it will also be very hard for him to get fit and available for the upcoming Ranji matches.
