IPL 2023: The highly-competitive playoffs leg in the Indian Premier League 2023 is currently occurring in full swing in Chennai. The recently-concluded league stage of IPL 2023 witnessed as many as 70 fixtures, while the playoffs consist of 4 electrifying games. Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and Mumbai Indians ended up as the four qualifying teams.
Kolkata Knight Riders, the Nitish Rana-led side, suffered an early elimination in the ongoing competition. Meanwhile, cricketer-turned-commentator Robin Uthappa’s latest tweet related to his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders is doing rounds on social media. Earlier yesterday (May 23) during Qualifier 1, Uthappa published a picture on his Twitter handle of him with his kid while supporting Chennai Super Kings. A fan posted a comment criticizing Uthappa which read ‘Bro played one-two seasons with Chennai and sold his soul. I have never seen him supporting KKR like this’.

Robin Uthappa was quick to respond to the fan with a cryptic tweet, taking a dig at Kolkata Knight Riders. The former Indian cricketer wrote ‘Loyalty and respect is a give and takes my friend!!’ in the mysterious tweet response.
