Talking about the defending Champion, Chennai Super Kings, they also need to select a maximum of 4 players from the squad before November 30th. Official Chennai Super Kings, Twitter handle posted a post in which they asked their fans to select their 4 players whom they want to retain.
Ravindra Jadeja in IPL, over the years
Ravindra Jadeja has won the championship with two teams. In 2008 he was a part of Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural champion. In 2010 he was banned for one year by the governing council of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the year 2011, he was picked by Kochi Tuskers Kerala. After the Kerala-based franchise got disbanded, Jadeja was picked by Chennai with a huge amount.

After that Jadeja has been a vital part of the Chennai-based franchise for more than a decade. In between when the franchise was banned for two years, he played for his home franchise Gujarat Lions. Currently, he is playing a test match for India in Kanpur, he is also India’s current best all-rounder.
Jadeja responded to this tweet in a funny way
He asked: “Should I tell ?”. To which CSK replied to him: “Not Y8”. It seems like Jadeja knows the players which the management has retained. Moreover, Ravindra Jadeja would also be on the retained list and could be the second pick after MS Dhoni.
According to reports Chennai will be retaining MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad. The official announcement be will released on November 30th.
