This season has been not so good for four-time champions Chennai Super Kings as they performed way below their expectations.
One of the factors of CSK not performing well was injuries, Adam Milne, Deepak Chahar, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan and now Ravindra Jadeja was added to the list of injuries.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, who missed their last game against Delhi Capitals (DC) due to an injury is set to be ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2022.
CSK have three more matches to go in the ongoing Indian Premier League against Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Rajasthan Royals, they are heavily dependent on other teams to qualify for playoffs despite winning all the three matches.
For them to qualify, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will need to lose their remaining games. Ravindra Jadeja did not feature in CSK’s previous match against DC which Chennai won by a huge margin.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja seemed to have injured his arm while fielding during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore while taking a catch.

Against Delhi Capitals another all-rounder Shivam Dube had replaced him in the eleven. CSK will be up against already eliminated Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday followed by games against Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
Ravindra Jadeja Likely To Be Ruled Out Of IPL 2022
One of the recent reports in the Times of India stated, “The CSK camp assessed his injury for the last couple of days but it hasn’t exactly got better”.
The report further adds that CSK may not risk Jadeja further in the tournament knowing that they do have a very small chance of qualifying for the playoffs from here on.
Apart from the injury, the form of Ravindra Jadeja has been a worrying sign for CSK as he has only managed to score just 116 runs and grabbed only five wickets in the 10 matches. This break could also help him to recover from the injury as India will be playing a home series against South Africa and touring England in the month of June.
