South African star left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock retired from Test Cricket which makes his fan make them shocking. Quinton de Kock is a left-handed batsman who is known for hitting good length balls over the boundary. He has won 2 IPL is with Mumbai Indians and was an integral part of the team since 2019. He has just made sudden retirement from test format but continues to play ODI and T20I.
In a very short test career, he just played 54 test matches and scored 3300 and with an average of 38.00. He has made a statement regarding his retirement and explained the reason for his sudden retirement. He played his first test match against Australia in 2014. Currently, Quinton De Kock was on paternity leave and he is not Second and third test matches against India. Quinton de Kock made a sudden announcement declaring him as retirement and test format with the immediate effect. He gives certain reasons for his retirement which include,
“to spend more time with his growing family “This is not a decision that I have come to very easily. He further added, “I love Test cricket and I love representing my country and all that it comes with. I’ve enjoyed the ups and the downs, the celebrations, and even the disappointments, but now I’ve found something that I love even more. He also added, “In life, you can buy almost everything except for time, and right now, it’s time to do right by the people that mean the most to me.”I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of my Test cricket journey from the very beginning. To my coaches, teammates, the various management teams, and my family and friends – I couldn’t have shown up as I did without your support.

Quinton De Kock career analysis
The 29 years old left-handed wicket-keeper batsman from Johannesburg, South Africa. He debuted in one-day international in 2012 at the age of just 20 years. In the 2013 India South Africa series, he hits two centuries in three-match bilateral series. He’s been nicknamed Quinny. He has been representing himself in various domestic tournaments and part of elite clubs across the globe. He played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils, RCB in IPL.
From 2019 to 2021 he played for Mumbai Indians and I won 2 IPL with them. In 124ODI matches he scored 5355 runs which include 16 centuries and 26 half-centuries. In 61 T20 matches, he scored 1827 runs with a high score of 79 not out. He announced his statement from test format on 30 December 2021. And says goodbye to the longest format of cricket.
