The incident might be a consequence of the Karachi Kings’ performance in this edition of PSL. Before the incident, Karachi had lost 7 out of 7 games. Later on, they went on to lose the game against Multan too. Mohammad Rizwan, the captain of Multan Sultans was named as player of the match in the same game.
Here’s how Karachi Kings’ skipper Babar Azam reacted to their disappointing performance in this season of PSL
“We’ve played well in the last two matches, unable to cross the line in the end. We haven’t executed our plans and our fielding has been poor. We have been making mistakes, hopefully, we perform better in the coming matches. Execution is the key.”
Babar Azam-led Karachi Kings will face Lahore Qalandars on Friday, in their second-last encounter of the season.
