Hardik Pandya’s flying effort at the boundary line :
In the 9th over, The Afghanistani spinner Rashid Khan created an opportunity to dismiss Livingstone as he was almost caught at the mid-wicket by Gujarat’s skipper Hardik Pandya. It would have been a big blow for PBKS.
The English batsman tried to slog one over the mid-wicket region but did not connect the ball properly. The GT skipper did a fine job to catch the ball but unfortunately, touched his left foot on the boundary line while throwing the ball in the air.
However, The decision was not confirmed initially as the umpire signaled a soft signal as out, The third umpire got clear evidence to overturn the soft signal, It was pretty evident that the Indian all-rounder touched his left foot.
The effort by Hardik Pandya was appreciated by the social media users as he showed great composure under a tight effort. The thing to be noticed is that the all-rounder is making his a comeback after a few months.
