The Wicketkeeper of Nepal shows true Sportsman spirit
Nepal facing their final match of the league against Ireland won the toss and elected to field first, there are some big names in Nepal that the world knows of Leggie Sandeep Dipendra Singh and many more. Nepal Asking to bowl first was the correct decision they bowled Ireland out on 127. It was a below-par score. It was supposed to be easy for Nepal to chase this down. But we have always seen low-scoring games going till the final ball. This was one of those games.
Nepal was bowling first in the match and in the 18th over an Incident took place the batsman was looking to smash the ball over the midwicket. And managed to get an Inside edge the ball fell on the crease while chasing the bowler and the non-striker clashed the non-striker was too far from the crease because he slipped as the bowler gave the ball to the keeper but the Keeper did not run him out and passed the ball.
This showed the spirit of the game. Because the Incident happened unintentionally and the keeper was aware of it so he gave the advantage to the batsman. Nepal bowled well, But Ireland was better with the ball they bowled hard lengths and did not give too many freebies. They went on to stop Nepal on 111 runs and won the match by 16 runs and ended second on the points table.
