Navdeep Saini bowls a beautiful ball that uprooted the Off Stump

The India ‘A’ squad is on a tour to South Africa for a 3 match test series. The 1st unofficial test match ended in a draw as both teams batted deep in the 1st innings. South Africa ‘A’ scored mammoth 509 runs and in return Inida’A’ were able to score 308 in the four days game time.

In the 2nd unofficial test, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. India started the innings and was in full control of the match as they took 5 wickets for 125 runs. But the contribution from the lower order batsmen George Linde (44 runs), Marco Jansen ( 70* runs), and Glenton Stuurman (27 runs) took South Africa to a respectful score of 297.

Navdeep Saini’s brilliant delivery to uproot the off stump

The wicket to watch out from The 1st innings was of Beuran Hendricks where he was clean bowled by Navdeep Saini. The off stump was seen Cartwheeling.

About the delivery –
Saini bowled a good length ball into the stumps which managed to get just a bit of movement off the pitch and seamed away from Hendricks, who was playing for a straighter one. The ball missed Hendricks and crashed into the off stump, which set off for a drive.

In reply to 297 runs, India’A’ was able to score 276 runs. Baba Aparajith and last match hero Abhimanyu Easwaran went for a duck. Many players got the start but were not to convert it into a big score. Shaw(42 runs), Ishan Kishan (49 runs) , Hanuma Vihari (54 runs), and Sarfaraz Khan remained 71 runs not out were the contribution for the Indian batting order.

Currently, South Africa is 116-5 and are having a lead of 137 runs. Right now due to rain the game is stopped.
