The Business end of other T20 leagues is going on. Indian Domestic T20 league known as Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 is in its knockout stage.
After defeating Saurashtra in a nail-biting encounter in the Pre Quarter Final Karnataka made their way in the quarter-final against Bengal on November 18th.
Bengal and Karnataka were in the same group ( Elite Group B). In the group stage, Bengal had the upper hand against Karnataka but this time around the result changed.
On the last ball of the game, Bengal needed one run off a ball but Manish Pandey, Karnataka’s skipper bull’s eye hit on the stump took Karnataka to Super over where they came out victorious.

Match Summary between Karnataka and Bengal
While put to bat first by Bengal, Karnataka was able to score 160 runs in their 20 overs. Karun Nair led the batting for Karnataka as he scored 55 runs in 29 balls which includes 4 fours and 3 sixes.
In the second innings, Bengal was able to score runs according to the situation and was in full control of the chase. At halfway through they were 80 for 3.
But the tight lengths bowled by Suchith and Cariappa made things difficult for the Bengal Batters.
As the lost wickets as well as the momentum in the middle order.

In the final over Bengal needed 20 runs. Some brilliant power hitting by Vidyadhar Patil made sure that Bengal is well and truly in the race again. But Karnataka’s skipper Manish Pandey had some different plans.
The Captain Under pressure delivered a direct hit from short cover at the bowler’s end with took Karnataka to Super over.
In super over Bengal batted first and were not even able to play completely over as they lost 2 wickets in 4 balls. Manish Pandey finished the game in the second ball of the super over with a six. Which sealed their spot in the Semi-Final against Vidarbha on November 20th.
