Amitabh Bachchan, star of Hindi Cinema has apologized to the fans for sharing the wrong advertisement. He is the brand ambassador of Legends League Cricket T20, featured in the promo of the upcoming tournament.
In that promo, Sachin Tendulkar is also mentioned and the fans are geared up to see the god of Cricket once again in the action. But Sachin’s company, SRT Sports Management Private Limited has clarified that Sachin won’t feature in the tournament.
The company has also urged the organizers to not mislead Amitabh Bachchan as well as the audience with false information. Because of this false information, the fans have flooded the Social media platforms criticizing the organization.

After which, Amitabh apologized to the fans by sharing the revised promo which didn’t have Tendulkar’s name.

Sachin Tendulkar will not feature in the upcoming Legends League Cricket T20
Hours before Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter, Tendulkar’s company confirmed that the 48-year-old won’t feature in the competition. “The news about @sachin_rt ’s participation in ‘Legends League Cricket’ is not true. The organizers should refrain from misleading cricket fans and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. – Official spokesperson, SRT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd,” wrote the firm in a tweet while reacting to Bachchan’s incorrect promotional post.
About the Legends League Cricket Tournament.
In this tournament, several former players from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England, Australia, and other cricketing nations will be divided into three teams – India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants.
The tournament will start on January 20th with all matches played at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman. The final will take place on January 29th.
