Very few would know, that Sandhu aspired to become a Cricketer before joining the Film industry and has played in the Ranji Trophy and for the India Under-19 team. During a chat with YouTuber Raj Shamani, the Punjab-born celebrity further revealed an incident of him bowling against veteran cricketer MS Dhoni.
“I wanted to become a Cricketer. I have played for India Under-19, I have played in Ranji Trophy. In our team during under-19 days, we had Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and, Ajinkya Rahane,” said Harrdy Sandhu in the Raj Shamani Podcast
When asked whether he played along with MS Dhoni or not, Harrdy Sandhu said “I have played against MS Dhoni. He made a lot of runs (119 runs off 70 balls) in that match. But, he hit only one four on my bowling.”
