IND vs SL: The proceeding One-Day International series between India and Sri Lanka is occurring in full swing. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team, surprisingly, has managed to claim a comprehensive series win with the last match remaining to be played. India achieved consecutive triumphs in the first two games of the three-match series, and will now eye on marking a clean sweep on January 15 in Thiruvananthapuram.
A lot of international action is on the cards in an upcoming couple of months, during India’s home season. India’s next challenge will be an ODI and T20I series against New Zealand followed by a Test and ODI series against Australia. It will be a crucial few months for Indian Cricket across formats, with the Test series against Australia (Border-Gavaskar Trophy) being the highlight, which will ultimately dictate the finalists of the World Test Championship 2021-22.
“Don’t say anything. Just smile.” read Ravindra Jadeja’s one-liner Tweet
Meanwhile, a senior Indian all-rounder is facing a lot of heat on Twitter following a cryptic tweet, published during the recently-concluded Kolkata ODI. Jadeja wrote “Don’t say anything. Just smile.” in his tweet which upset a lot of Indian fans, who are desperately waiting for the star all-rounder’s comeback on the national side for a few months now. Fans went on to compare and back emerging all-rounder Axar Patel as India’s frontline spin-bowling all-rounder.
“India are not missing Jadeja, who has been a phenomenal player in all three formats. But since India have found Axar Patel, we are not talking too much about Jadeja since he’s been away. Goes on to show how good Axar has come about as a cricketer. Fantastic,” said former India opener Wasim Jaffer during a chat with ESPN
Ravindra Jadeja transformed himself into a reliable option on the national side across all three formats. The 34-year-old is one of the few names to feature in India’s lineup in all three formats. He suffered a knee-related injury during the Asia Cup back in September 2022 which has kept him out of action for almost four months now. The Southpaw will be desperate to mark his India comeback through the upcoming New Zealand series.

I think Axar deserves to stay in all formats and Jadeja needs to go back to first class cricket if he wants to comeback which i doubt it, he has enough money, he doesn't care about the Nation.. He will be back for IPL
