Jaskaran Malhotra smashes 6 Sixes in an Over

As Chandigarh all-rounder and now USA cricketer 31 year’s old Jaskaran Malhotra (wicket-keeper). Yesterday Jaskaran Malhotra smashes 6 sixes in an over.  He hit six sixes in the last over of the USA’s innings against bowler Gaudi Toka. He became only the second cricketer after South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs to hit six sixes in an ODI played against Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the second match of the ODI series being played at AI Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 2), Oman.

Jaskaran Malhotra smashes 6 Sixes

In yesterday’s 2^nd ODI match played between USA vs PNG, PNG won the toss and elected to bowl first. Giving the chance to first played to the USA. They made a total of 271 runs after losing 9 wickets with the help of the unbeaten 173 innings of Jaskaran Malhotra. (smashes 16 sixes & 4 boundaries). He comes to the crease at no. 5. His record of 16 sixes was one short of England batsman Eoin Morgan. PNG was all out at 137 runs in 37.1 overs while chasing the total of 271 runs.

During his days in India as a cricketer. Jaskaran had captained the Himachal Pradesh U-19 team. Later apart from being part of the Indian U-19 camp before he decided to shift to the USA. In the USA, he is the first instance played for some local clubs before taking up the placement of a coach at KYC Youth Academy, Houston.

Earlier this year on 22^nd May 2021, Jaskaran had made an innings of 270 runs in just 86 balls against the PDCC United & on 5^th June 2021, he also made unbeaten innings of 172 runs in just 64 balls against the UCC Fighters played under the GNCC Avengers team in Titan Cup Division I League (Midwest Cricket Tournament).
