The two-match Test series between India and Sri Lanka is set to begin on March 4. The Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium located at Mohali will host the first test of the two-match series. IS Bindra Mohali Stadium pitch report is available now.
The test will be a historic test as it will be Virat Kohli’s 100th test match. Unfortunately, there will be no crowd.
PCA treasurer on Virat Kohli’s 100th test :
“We will be putting up big billboards and our PCA Apex Council has also decided to felicitate Virat. We will either do it at the start of the game or at the end depending on the BCCI directive.”
However, PCA is putting up billboards across the stadium to celebrate the momentous occasion in Kohli’s glittering cricket career.
Senior PCA treasurer R.P. Singla about the Crowd :
“Yes, apart from the people, who are on duty for the Test match, we are allowing 50% for any general spectators as per the directive of the BCCI. Obviously, the fans are happy because an international match at Mohali is happening after almost three years.”
The Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, the venue has a crowd capacity of 30,000.

According to Accu Weather, The weather at Mohali will remain sunny throughout all 5 days of the test match. The average temperature will remain around 30°c during the playing hours.
Good news for the fans as there are no chances of Rain throughout the 5 days according to the Accuweather. The weather will remain humid. No loss of overs expected.

The pitch at The Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium is one of the flattest pitches in India. The matches that happened during the recent seasons of IPL were high-scoring encounters. An international match will be taking place at the venue after three years.
