MS Dhoni Inaugurates Super Kings Academy at the MS Dhoni Global School:
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni, The celebrated captain of Chennai Super Kings inaugurated the first franchise-owned Super Kings academy in the MS Dhoni Global School located in Hosur (Tamil Nadu). The mega event took place earlier today (October 10) and was attended by top officials of the franchise including the CEO Kasi Viswanathan.
The academy has been launched by the franchise in partnership with the former Indian skipper in order to cultivate and groom young talents in the state of Tamil Nadu. The academy boasts some rare facilities including a whopping eight pitches and a turf-wicket ground for professional matches.
“School is the place where your character develops. it’s the small characteristics that you want to make strong, simple things such as you want to be punctual, you want to be disciplined, you want to respect the elders and teachers, you want to keep learning every day.” said the wicket-keeper at the launch.
“Always felt school was the period where once you have a strong character, it stays with you for a very long time and it actually defines you. Make the most of the time that you have right now. Make the most of all the infrastructure that is around you,” he added.
