Instagram Account of Former Indian Wicket-keeper Batsman Parthiv Patel was Hacked
India’s former wicket-keeper batsman, Parthiv Patel seems to have landed in trouble as his official Instagram account has been hacked on October 17 (Sunday). The southpaw batsman played for the Gujarat team in various domestic cricket tournaments.

He took to Twitter and informed his fans and followers about the incident and asked people the matter on Twitter informing everyone that the account is hacked! Informing about the same, Parthiv Patel tweeted, “Please note that my Instagram account has been hacked and I am unable to access it! Please ignore any unusual activity or messages from the account till we confirm that it is restored! @instagram”. The 36-year-old wicket-keeper has played 25 Tests, 38 ODIs, and 2 T20Is for India in which he had amassed 934 runs, 736 runs, and 36 runs respectively, his last international appearance coming in India’s famous Test win in Johannesburg in January 2018. In December 2020, Parthiv Patel announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. After his retirement, Patel joined Mumbai Indians as a Talent Scout. Apart from playing for India, Patel will be remembered for his contributions to Gujarat. He led the side to the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2015, scoring a match-winning maiden List A century in the final against Delhi.
