The 41-year-old needs the physical PAN card for work. Pietersen asked for help through a tweet from his official Twitter handle. INDIA PLEASE HELP “I’ve misplaced my PAN card & travelling Mon to India but need the physical card for work. Can some PLEASE PLEASE direct me to someone who I can contact asap to help me? 🙏🏽” writes the 41-year-old.

The situation looks tricky and serious as Pietersen went on to tag Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the same tweet.
The Indian Income Tax department were quick to respond to the 41-year-old’s tweet. Indian Income Tax replied offering the England player assistance through their official twitter handle.

Kevin Pietersen has expressed his love for India in few occasions in past.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself greeted Kevin Pietersen India’s 73rd Republic Day. ‘I’ve grown loving India more.’ replied Pietersen with a tweet.
PM Modi decided to personally write to some of the cricketers who have praised India on various occasions. Prime Minister Modi wrote letter to the likes of Jonty Rhodes, Chris Gayle and the England player thanking them for their love towards India on the occasion of Republic Day.
