After the successful run in the white-ball format, the Men in Blue will take on Srilanka for a two-test match series starting from 4th March in Mohali. This will also be Rohit Sharma’s first assignment as a Test Captain.
But, in between this break, it looks like India captain Rohit Sharma’s Twitter account is hacked given the cryptic and unusual tweets tweeted from his official handle on March 1, 2022.
Tweets like “Bzz….! Did you know? Buzzing beehives make for great boxing bags!,” Rohit tweeted. “I love coin tosses…especially when they end up in my belly!”

Even Harsha Bhogle looked confused with this activity and he posted saying, “Uh…What? All okay Captain? Can’t make heads or tails of this.”

The fans are also expecting that the Twitter handle of Rohit Sharma is hacked as Rohit hasn’t tweeted something like this in the past where he talks about buzzing beehives, while the other was about coin tosses which were tasty.
Can India continue their dominance in the longest format as well under the newly appointed Captain?
For the first time, Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the longest format of the game. Rohit Sharma has a fantastic start to his captaincy as he went on to beat New Zealand, West Indies, and Srilanka on a trot without losing a single game.
The test series against Srilanka will begin from March 4 onwards. The first Test will be played at the IS Bindra Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh, which will be also Virat Kohli’s 100th Test for the Indian team but there will be no crowd as BCCI has announced that the Test will be played behind closed doors.
The second test will be a day/night test match which will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The second test will be from 12th March. In Bengaluru, KSCA has allowed a 50% crowd and the sale for the tickets has also been started.
