Ravi Bishnoi dropped Nicholas Pooran while Yuzvendra Chahal was the bowler
On the very first delivery from Yuzvendra Chahal, Nicholas Pooran, the left hander tried to clear the long-on with a big hit. The attempt was unsuccessful as the miss-hit went straight to the long-on fielder Ravi Bishnoi. The 21-year-old was successful while grabbing the catch but failed to complete the catch as his right foot touched the boundary rope at the final moment.
Chahal missed on a great chance to get his spell going with a dream start. Both the leg-spinners looked extremely disappointed.
The dropped catch turned out to be expensive for the hosts. Pooran, the vice-captain, was dropped by Bishnoi when he was batting on 8 runs. The left-hander went on to score 61 off 43 deliveries.
