The bizarre incident took place in the second T20I between India and West Indies in the 8th over. Roston Chase was bowling, and Virat Kohli was the batsman on strike. Kohli hit the ball straight to Rohit Sharma who was the non-striker. The visitors’ captain tried to run Rohit out. After that Kohli was heard saying “You can’t run him out like that” to Kieron Pollard.
It was taken well from both sides and there was nothing but a smile on Virat, Rohit & Pollard’s faces after the incident. Second India vs West Indies T20I of the three-match series is taking place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. It is a must-win game for the visitors.
