In the ongoing first ODI match between South Africa and India at Paarl, South Africa’s skipper Temba Bavuma and Virat Kohli were seen in an argument as Bavuma was unhappy with Virat’s throw.
This incident happened on the 4th ball of the 36 over which was bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal. Bavuma tapped the ball towards cover where Kohli was standing, who took the ball and threw fiercely to the keeper, but in between the threw ball almost hit Bavuma. Bavuma bent down to avoid the throw, after that a few words were exchanged between Bavuma and Kohli.

Chahal to Bavuma, no run, Bavuma again finds Kohli at the cover, a fierce throw almost hits Bavuma who was bending down to avoid the throw, a few words exchanged between Bavuma and Kohli, the former Indian captain looks quite aggressive in his body language
Both, Temba Bavuma- Rassie Van der Dussen scored a century; helped South Africa post 296 runs.
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. This is the first time after 2016 that Virat Kohli is not playing as a captain. The start was decent as South Africa scored 39 runs and lost a wicket in the 1st powerplay. After 1st powerplay, South Africa lost a couple of wickets as De Kock got clean bowled by Ashwin. And Markram got run-out with a direct hit from Venkatesh Iyer, who was at mid-off.
From 68-3, Temba Bavuma and Rassie Van der Dussen added 204 runs for the fourth wicket which helped South Africa recover after quick wickets. Bavuma played the captain’s knock by scoring 110 runs off 143 balls (8 fours).
On the other side, Dussen played the aggressive role as he scored 129 off 96 balls at a strike rate of 134.38 (9 fours and 4 sixes). For India Bumrah took 2 wickets whereas Ashwin took a wicket. Team India went wicketless in the middle overs which created problems for them.
