Sanju Samson has represented Kerala in Ranji Trophy and a couple of other Indian domestic tournaments. He was left out of India’s squad for the ongoing limited-overs leg as well as the upcoming T20I World Cup 2022. The wicket-keeper has put up performances on a regular basis but still failed to cement his place in the national side due to stiff competition.
Here’s what Sanju Samson said after not being picked for T20 World Cup:
“It really does get challenging. Finding a place in the Indian team is really challenging. There is a lot of competition around, even within players who are in the team now. When these things happen, it is important to focus on myself. I am happy with the way I am performing. I want to improve.”
