The right-arm pacer tried to attempt the run-out after bowling the delivery, seeing Miller standing way outside the crease. Barring the embarrassing ‘overthrow’ incident, Mohammad Siraj had a day to remember. He was India’s pick of the bowlers in the game, managing to scalp as many as three crucial wickets. He had an economy of 3.5 which was pretty impressive, considering the surface conditions.
Mohammad Siraj featured for the Indian time after a couple of months break. He was part of the prominent English domestic tournament namely County Championship during the last couple of months. The pacer is set to join the main Indian team, which is in Australia for the T20 World Cup after the South Africa ODI series. He is picked in standbys of the Indian squad for the mega ICC event.
