IND vs AUS: The highly-anticipated Test series between India and Australia, popularly known as the Border Gavaskar Trophy is set to kick off tomorrow (February 9). The opening
encounter of the four-match electrifying Test series will occur at VCA stadium of Nagpur. Moreover, the remaining three games will take place on February 17, March 1 and 9 respectively.
Both sides underwent a week-long intense training session in Nagpur and Bangalore ahead of the blockbuster series. Cricket fans across the globe are now desperately waiting for the all-important series to start, while team India has eyes on defending the trophy following a dominating performance in the last couple of editions of the exact series.

Meanwhile, former Indian World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev has commented on Rishabh Pant’s absence in the approaching Australia series, using some harsh words. Dev is unhappy with injured Pant’s mistake amid a recent car crash and believes that the team combination will take a major hit due to the wicketkeeper’s absence in the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy. The 64-year-old further wished the young batter a speedy and safe recovery.
“I love him very much. I want him to get well and when he gets well If you go, I will go and slap you hard because take care of yourself. Look, your injury has spoiled the combination of the whole team. That’s why there is love and affection that you get well soon. Then there is also anger that such mistakes today’s youth Why do boys do it? There should be a slap for that too,” said Kapil Dev

Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of Cricketing action for at least 6 months following a catastrophic car crash a few weeks back. Pant suffered several serious injuries during the significant accident, barely escaping death. The heart-chilling accident occured on December 30 while he was returning solo from Roorkee to New Delhi.
