Team India’s West Indies tour is currently occurring in full swing in the Caribbean. The much-anticipated tour kicked off earlier this week with the enthralling red-ball series. Rohit Sharma-led Indian team registered a gigantic victory in the Tests series opener against hosts Windies. Following a dominant effort, India won the exact Test at Dominica by an innings and 141 runs, taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
The second and final Test of the short Test series is scheduled on July 20 with all-famous Port of Spain being the venue. Things will then head to the white ball leg which comprises a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series. The extensive tour has turned out to be super-exciting so far and promises high-quality cricketing action going forward.
Yuzi, Dhanashree Open Up About Their First Meeting
Meanwhile, team India’s renowned leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma recently opened up about their initial interactions. Chahal confessed that he was a fan of Dhanashree’s TikTok dance videos and approached her for dance classes. After not showing any interest in dating, Chahal had further directly told Dhanshree about his intentions to marry her.
“I had DMd her (Dhanashree), having seen her dance videos on TikTok. First two months, we didn’t talk about anything else but dance. I didn’t flirt at all. She is a self-made woman like I am a self-made man. Then I told her I don’t want to date you, I want to marry you. I said that straight away. I was sure.” said Yuzi Chahal on The Ranveer Show
“When he messaged me that he wanted to take dance classes, I had no clue who Yuzi Chahal was. He was very sincere about dance and I liked it. This is why the classes lasted for 2 months. Decency is what I loved about him and the direct approach, no one does that,” said Dhanashree Verma
Yuzvendra Chahal was in action a couple of months back during the Indian Premier League. Spearheading Rajasthan Royals’ bowling, Chahal had a great outing with the ball in the IPL season 2023. The 32-year-old is part of India’s lineup for the upcoming white ball series against the Windies and is likely to play a big role during the high-octane matches.
