The Babar Azam-led Pakistan team is in the headlines after being handed over an embarrassing defeat by England in the opening match of the test series. It was undoubtedly a crushing loss for Pakistan as the series is being played at their home. The defeat at Rawalpindi turns the remaining two matches in the series into must-win encounters as one more loss will mean a humiliating series defeat for the hosts.
“We were not up to the mark. We had a golden chance in the second innings, but session by session we lost wickets. Our bowling group is young. Unfortunately, Haris injured himself in the first innings. All credit to the bowlers who bowled well and tried without Haris. A lot of positives. Our batting performed very well.” said Pakistan skipper Babar Azam in the post-match presentation
The caravan now moves to Multan, which will be the venue for the penultimate encounter of the series. The match will formally occur on December 9, live from the Multan Cricket Stadium while the third match will take place in Karachi, commencing on December 17. After starting off its campaign in the series in a wavering fashion, Babar Azam and co. will be desperate to get back on the field.
Who still feels like this today? 😀
One of the greatest away wins of all time.

Hasan Ali engages in a heated exchange with a few crowd members!
Meanwhile, a video of renowned Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali being engaged in a heated exchange with a few members of the crowd is doing rounds on social media. The episode occurred during a club fixture in Pakistan, where a bunch of spectators was repeatedly poking the pacer about his dropped catch in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2021.
Hasan Ali looked frustrated and ran towards the crowd to wrestle it out before multiple security officials pulled him out. The 28-year-old spearheaded Pakistan’s bowling attack for more than a couple of years across formats. Unfortunately, he was dropped by the team ahead of the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2022.
Here are a couple of clips from the incident:
You gotta feel for Hasan Ali. He is out of the team but never gave any toxic statement always kept supporting the team. Once a No 1 ODI bowler and now he is facing such things in a random club game. pic.twitter.com/L2OLjVPRQd
