‘Hardik Ka Badla’ Ishan Kishan Tries To Recreate Hardik Pandya’s Controversial Dismissal With Tom Latham

IND vs NZ: The opening encounter of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand is currently occuring in Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (January 18). As things stand, Rohit Sharma-led Indian team has an upper hand in the enthralling fixture while defending a mammoth total of 350 following a brilliant batting display in the 1st innings. 

Shubman Gill remained as India’s pick of the batters with a headline-making double century. The emerging opening batsman became the 5th Indian batter to achieve the rare milestone with his 208-run knock. Moreover, Rohit Sharma and co. appear on the verge of registering a victory and it will certainly be a fitting beginning to the high-octane series.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan is in limelight on social media after he tried to recreate Hardik Pandya’s controversial dismissal, which occurred earlier during the first innings. India all-rounder Pandya got out in an unfortunate and controversial fashion. He was given out bowled after a full-fledged third-umpire referral. The decision was controversial as the netizens suspected that New Zealand wicketkeeper Tom Latham’s gloves collided with the bails before the ball made contact with the stumps. 

Ishan Kishan tried to mimic the same and the episode received some interesting reactions, all ending with some laughs. Other than that, It was pretty much a tough day on the field for the young Indian wicketkeeper. It was his comeback game in ODIs and he was dismissed on the score of 5 by New Zealand’s quick Lockie Ferguson. Kishan, however, has looked brilliant in the role behind the stumps.
