The Indian team registered a significant victory over Babar Azam-led Pakistan in the second encounter of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. It was a clinical win (IND won by five wickets) by Rohit Sharma’s Men In Blue in the last-over thriller at the iconic Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India displayed a brilliant performance of bowling, bundling out the star-stubbed Pakistan team on the score of 147. The run chase did not go ideally for the team. However, They managed to hold their nerve and eventually get the better of Pakistan in the very last over of the match.

Hardik Pandya, The marquee Indian all-rounder was named player of the match for his brilliant all-round performance. He broke Pakistan’s backbone with the ball by scalping a whopping three wickets in his four-over quota and finished the game with an incredible knock of 33* (17) remaining unbeaten.

Meanwhile, A video of Indian captain Rohit Sharma is doing rounds on social media. In the video, The Mumbaikar was seen giving autographs and interacting with the crowd at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium after registering a victory over Pakistan in a thriller.

The Indian fans were delighted and requested the Indian opener for an Indian jersey. While responding, Sharma promised them jerseys after India wins the final of Asia Cup 2022. It was a humble gesture by the right-hand batter and he was appreciated by the social media users.

Rohit Sharma is having a dominant run after being appointed as India’s all-format captain. He has successfully managed to win a whopping 30 out of 36 T20 internationals as India’s captain. He is the fastest skipper to achieve this feat in the history of T20 internationals.

“Halfway through the chase, we still knew that we could win irrespective of the situation. We had the belief and when you have that belief, these things can happen. It was a bit challenging but I’ll take wins like this any day over usual victories.” said Rohit Sharma after the match.
