Delhi Capitals, After a disappointing start to the innings, turned the game on its head in the last 4 years. Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel were the saviors for the Delhi-based franchise. Basil Thampi and Murugan Ashwin took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

The Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma looked disappointed after the game as the match looked in complete control before the cameos by Patel and Yadav. The franchise has a history of losing their first matches of the season.
Unfortunately, The Mumbaikar has been fined INR 12 Lakh by the BCCI after he failed to maintain a proper over-rate. The offense comes under the IPL code of conduct for maintaining a slow over-rate.
It was the first offense of the season by the Mumbai Indians skipper. He might have to face worse consequences if he repeats the offense once again.
