We are in Era where Rishabh Pant is the heart of the Indian cricket team. He plays the dominant role of a finisher in the first two T20 matches versus New Zealand. After the 2020 border Gavaskar trophy, Rishabh Pant showcases his unseen talent and his approach has been applauded by many cricket experts. He was also included in T20World Cup 2021.
In the first match versus Pakistan, he scored 39 runs but many analysts think that Rishab is capable of scoring more runs in that match. After the 39 runs, he batted in 5 matches in which he scores only 72 runs. There is no doubt that he won’t get any further chances and in two matches he remains not out.
Legendary left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori questioned this stat of Rishabh Pant. After analyzing the last five matches’ scores he warns Rishabh Pant. Daniel clearly depicted that Rishabh may lose his spot in limited-overs cricket if his form continues. India has a lot of variety in batting, so Rishabh Pant continues with that form he may have to drop again just like in 2019.
In 2019 also he has dropped from the limited-overs squad of Indian cricket due to his poor cricketing form. No doubt he came back, even more, stronger after the 2020 border Gavaskar trophy but still Daniel warns him.
