In the first match versus Pakistan, he scored 39 runs but many analysts think that Rishab is capable of scoring more runs in that match. Daniel clearly depicted that Rishabh may lose his spot in limited-overs cricket if his form continues. India has a lot of variety in batting, so Rishabh Pant continues with that form he may have to drop again just like in 2019.

Daniel Vettori while talking to ESPN said, “He hasn’t got his tempo right in T20 cricket. He hasn’t quite understood his role, particularly in this series. Sometimes he is overly cautious, then he is reckless. It doesn’t feel like there is a flow to his game.”
“When you see great T20 batters batting well, it is all about flow and momentum and you just feel a rhythm to it. He hasn’t quite got that yet.” Even also stated that there are Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul who are ready to replace him. He added, “They have Ishan Kishan and KL can keep wickets as well in T20. They will give Pant the opportunity to find his rhythm, knowing that they can change pretty quickly as well.”

Born in Roorkee, Rishabh Pant is a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman. He plays for Delhi capital in IPL since 2016. He is also a part of the 2016 under 19 cricket World Cup in which he performed dominantly. 24 years old had seen lots of ups and downs in their career. As he is the youngest of the 2019 cricket World Cup squad but he immediately dropped after the World Cup just because of his poor form.
