In the ongoing domestic tournament of New Zealand known as Super Smash 2021-22. Blake Coburn and Mitchell Hay combine for a sensational catch near the boundary rope. This incident happened in the 18th game of the Super Smash 2021-22 between Central Districts and Canterbury.
Central Districts’ batter Ben Smith went for a big shot against Todd Astle in the 8th over of the innings over the deep square leg but unfortunately was caught by a combined catch by Blake Coburn and Mitchell Hay.
Balke Coburn, who was standing near the rope at deep square leg stretched his body to his left over the rope to catch the ball and throw it back towards his partner Mitchell Hay, who completed the catch.
